The high 5 of webosium promos

The high 5 of webosium promos

Ola! Let's begin this post with a quick crash course on what is a webosium and why are they awesome! So, a webosium is not just a virtual event, it's a way for someone to use live streams but it's a way for you to get your message out there to the masses by leveraging technology. You can have literally hundreds and thousands of people hearing your voice, seeing your computer screen or seeing you on camera and get to hear your message, you get to share your knowledge, share what is that you're good at to them and give yourself an opportunity to attract them to you. Maybe you're solving a problem you know or a challenge they are facing or a frustration that's pending inside for long. Your webosium is the answer to that so it allows you to attract people to you which is really good to create leads build up your email list. Also, use your webosiums to create sales towards the end or you can continue to follow up with those leads afterwards. So briefly, that's what a webosium is and why it's so amazing is because out of every tactic that you can use to get new customers, webosiums work best!  Anyone can leverage webosiums to share knowledge to their target market and to make more money and grow their customer base.

Woah! that as more than just a crash course....Fine, let's start with the objective we wanted this post up - 5 sure shot ways to promote your webosium and get the word out there.

Social Media - so social media can be a pain in the neck but if you do have webosium coming up you want to make sure that when someone is on the page to register and they enter their name and their email make sure that you use that as an opportunity to get them to follow you. Get them to follow you on Twitter or Instagram, get them to like your Facebook page. When you send out an email afterwards have it say three steps: step number one add this to your calendar; step number two like us on Facebook; step number three share it on Instagram. Give them the steps so that you make it simple for them to share what's going on because what's really cool is that you're going to put all this time to doing a webosium why not take advantage of the fact that you're driving all these leads to it and give them a reason to share it. For example give them a hashtag you want to be tweeted.  Get people involved in social,  get them sharing it, get them talking about it because when you create buzz, it starts to fuel viral growth. So make sure that you weave in social media in an appropriate way.

Videos: By leveraging video, you can with lesser efforts do a quick summary of what they're going to learn in the webosium. So your video should be as simple as the what, why, how and what's next. What does this webosium give you,  why is this webosium so awesome...etc.  If the videos are less than 60 seconds it again becomes something that you can post into Facebook. Facebook is really growing in the area of video they're really starting to compete with YouTube as a place to put videos so definitely makes sense to have  short and effective less than sixty second videos up there. And what's nice is you can drive traffic to it if you want with ads but you can also get your own audience or own tribe to like it and share it. It just gives you another technique, another way to get your message out there and also have the video put up on Youtube. So if you have a keyword targeted video on YouTube for a topic that's relevant, you can take that video and you can get some search traffic from it.

Joint Venture: Here's why this is amazing because anytime you have what's called endorsed traffic then there's already going to be a level of trust! If you have a webosium coming up and we promoted you it would be for our audience saying hey you know they are amazing here's why we should check it out here's what you're going to learn and we fully endorse and recommend it so that you're getting really high quality traffic to it and so it's cool.  If you're keen to do the joint venture model you might want to know a couple things. Make sure that you're adding value first and then you want to make sure that you're really awesome and professional and you ring the bells for them and if you do business with someone on joint venture level you need to make sure that your webosium is accounted. Meaning that if someone is going to promote your webosium and they're going to send their people to it, make sure that your conversions are accounted.

Emails: They are important for two reasons, number one, when you have a webosium,  make sure that you are getting your message, purpose and other info out there to your warm market, your best prospects are the people that already know, like and trust you so you definitely want to make sure that in your campaign you're sending out enough series of emails to get them excited about it. Your first email might be something about creating a response. If your email list is cold maybe haven't emailed in a while, then write them something very personal like, hey how are you, reply back and let me know. Create a conversation with them on a really good subject line that can probably in a lot of cases double your open rates because it's so personal that's a good way to rekindle your email messages. The follow up and share a personal story about whatever it is that you're teaching how it helped you in your life, in your business, share your story and relate it back to them. Share the benefits - the number one reason this webosium's going to really help them in their business or life, what's the number two reason that's going to help them and the number three reason. Then share milestone updates like "wow we've got eleven hundred people registered this is crazy make sure that you show up ten minutes early". It's wonderful that you're building up the buzz, you're building up the anticipation along the way because in your email it's super important that you get them to show up live because if you're doing a webosium and they're not showing up live you're missing out on a whole bunch of revenue and GOODWILL. You can optimize your ads, you can optimize how you deliver your webosium but if your audience is small because you haven't done a good job emailing then you're going to be stuck.  Now, the next piece about email, the second aspect of email is your email follow-up. When someone registers doesn't matter if they came from your email and they registered for the webosium or they came from an ad or they came from social or a video or any of these strategies but once they opt-in the next piece is you want to make sure that you over deliver on the email. Send them a free gift, send them a checklist it breaks down all like it's the summary of what they're gonna learn on the webosium, send them the presentation in advance give them some other training that is complementary to what they're going to learn so think about it as when you're marketing your webosium that it's an event that's live but all along the way you want to make sure you're adding value to get them to be there live and then you want to make sure that when you're leading up to it you have got enough emails to get people. So the day of the webosium do one in the morning, and then as many hourly reminder emails as feasible. And then one last one that says something like hey are you coming and that's the time that the webosium goes live. To conclude, it's imperative that you also have an email sequence in place for webosium replays and other post webinar follow-ups. We've spent some real good time on emails simply because it's so very important.

Facebook Ads: With the sort of specific reach and targeting Facebook offers, it will help you grow your list and your audience very fast, almost to an exponential level. 5 macro essentials for a successful webosium

5 macro essentials for a successful webosium

Hello, this post is all about webinars and why they're such an important part in any business so that's what you're going to learn today - 5 macro essentials for a successful webinar. Let's just dive straight into this because we love giving webinars and also love attending them! And we love having guests along to do webinars for the community and a reason for that is we think you can really personally connect with people even though they're out there somewhere on the other side of the screen listening in to you. It's the point that you feel like you're just having a one-on-one conversation with people and the other great thing about webinars is you can make them very visually appealing and you can also have a whole lot of chat going on, but you're actually getting feedback from people who are listening and telling you if you're doing a great job. The other reason why we love them is because we love to give a ton of value and we feel that is our way of being able to share as much knowledge as we can for free in the space of like an hour. So...coming to the point... there are five steps that we said we are going to cover the 5 macro essentials on how to run a rave webinar.

step one is all about the 'psychology of webinars'. Now you have probably been to several before and ones that we find incredibly boring when people just have screens and screens of text on their boring PowerPoint slide decks and it's just the most frustrating thing to look at so first of all fill your webinar with beautiful visuals, lots of big text and just put the main points up.  You should know your stuff well enough that you're actually not putting all the notes up there. That's the thing, keep it as mysterious as possible and talk to the visual being shown. Have something that really conjures up and resonates with a beautiful image or representation of what you're talking about -  less text more visuals. Another thing around the psychology of webinars is that you need to keep positive yourself so you need to keep your voice  - I'm kind of energetic. You need to keep it rolling,  You need to tell people what they can expect next as we mentioned earlier - a bit of an element of surprise or what's coming up so that they stay on the line with you.  Remember people are busy and their attention spans are short - you need to work around 100 slides per webinar. Some of you may be going oh my god that's a crap load of slides but it's actually really important to keep flicking through. Think about when you go to the movies and you're constantly seeing these changes in scenes - that keeps you interested, that keeps you engaged, that pulls you into the story... so please don't sit on a slide for five minutes talking about it keep people entertained keep the images coming take them on a journey with you.

step two is 'have the structure of your webinar in place'. Now, we know that the best webinar hosts sometimes spend months planning the content of their webinar. It's not something you just throw together at the last minute, sometimes we may be be tempted to do that.. but the masters who have seen so successful actually have content in place and they really know what they're going to talk about so they're prepared well in advance, they have the call to action, they have their psychological triggers worked out and they really know what the purpose of the webinar is.  So... plan plan plan and rehearse your webinar. If you want to get really good at this, every single time you do a webinar think about what you liked about it and listen to the feedback that you get from people and then make it better with still better visuals, better text, better story & better flow, Already sounds like a winner, isn't it?

step 3 is to 'know your webinar best practice'. What we mean by that is there are certain times of the day and week when it's best to run a webinar. From research that has been done generally it's Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Sunday is just not a good day for anybody remember it's the day they come off the weekend if they're in a job or if they're working. On Friday people are a bit more relaxed but they're also sort of taking off into the weekend already so Tuesday sounds like a great day to capture people's attention. It's also well known that 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. wherever you are in the world are pretty decent times because it's during dinner or evening when people can kind of relax and actually switch off and totally tune in. Next, along with the first step about the structure of what you're doing, you need a good promotional plan. You need to email people to tell them what's happening. A lot of people get this wrong and just send out one email saying hey I'm having this webinar in a few days come along. No No No...it doesn't work that way! You probably need about two or three emails. People who do it really really well have five emails spread out about a week before the webinar starts. It builds credibility for the host and recaps what the webinar is about and why it is important to register now. A few days before the webinar it is always good once again to recap some different points and promote some giveaways or templates or PDFs that  might be given out on the day of the webinar. It's very important to follow up with reminder emails an hour before and exactly at the time of webinar urging to join the webinar. Follow up after the webinar to say here's the recording or the live replay. At this point, we want to just say that timing of webinars are something that each one you should explore based on your audience preferences.

step four is to 'have somebody to support you' - Now,  we know a lot of us are solopreneurs but it's great to have a team member or even a friend or your business partner who can be there as well if you were doing actual presenting. You just want to focus on giving the best delivery of your life going through the webinar slides and visuals. It's always good to have somebody with you monitoring and replying to the chat, making sure it's all recording and handling any kind of tech stuff behind the scenes. if you can't have a team member,  just get a really good friend to come and do it.

fifth step  is that 'you have to follow up'. This is where we see many people go wrong as they will do all the great stuff beforehand, they'll even run a great webinar. And then... you never hear from them! You never get the replay, they don't communicate with you, they don't see your questions that maybe you put out in the chat or the comments. A great webinar culminates with successive follow-ups on multiple call to actions. Engaging with follow-ups is critical to the success of your future webinars. Specially if you want more and more people to start attending them.

So those are the five macro essentials for a successful webinar. Parting comments - make it engaging, make it fun, and give valuable content and then just keep getting better at it.

5 spicy reasons to do webosiums

5 spicy reasons to do webosiums

In this post, we're going to talk about webinars and why you need to be doing them. Some people are afraid of 'em, but they're one of the biggest, highest-producing money-making activities that you can do to benefit your business, and we're going to discuss the top five spicy reasons that you need to be doing them . So stick around. All right, webinar marketing, has proven to many over and over and over again why it is one of the dominant ways to earn goodwill and make money in your business, and we're going to talk about it here.

Let's dwell on number one - one of the spiciest reasons for doing webinars is 'lead generation'. It is a great way to generate leads. Go out there, do a presentation, invite people to come in, and it's a great way to create leads for your business. It makes all the difference, but it is a huge, huge way to do it. Really, there's all different kinds of ways that you can market - Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, YouTube videos, Facebook Likes, you could do solo ads, you can do all kinds of different types of ads, Pinterest Ads, whatever you want to drive 'em into a webinar and guess what? It can generate a lot of leads for you, depending upon how your business is set up and what you're doing.

Alright, let's go ahead and dive in to number two - what is the number two spicy reason you should be using webinar marketing in your business? Very simple, 'it creates authority'. Creating authority is huge. You see, when you're on a presentation and if you ever go to a you know, any type of presentation or you go to a sales presentation anywhere, even if it's a live one, the person onstage always has perceived authority. Why? Because they're the one in front doing the teaching while everybody else is listening. You know, think about it, when you were going through school and you were learning about geometry or physics and you had your teachers up in front of the room teaching the class, you listened to what they had to say. Why? Because they knew what they were talking about. And that created an authority between you and your teachers. It's the same way with new age marketing. It creates authority. It creates know, like, and trust. And it really, really does a huge thing for your profile and causes you to really stand out, again, kind of weaving these in and out with some of the other points, but it really causes you to stand out and that authority means everything when you're going to go for the sell. Doesn't really matter if it's a product or service. It makes a huge, huge difference

Number three, it 'creates a connection'. Connection, you know, one of the things you should do when you have webinars is add value on a subject, Talk about a subject, and then open that up for discussion or Q&A. And what happens is, through Q&A, you get the time to sit there and get to talk with your audience. And that is a really cool thing, where you can have an audience from all over the world and they can ask you questions and get answers. This is your time to connect with an audience. It creates that connection, no matter where they are. You can have students, info hungry audience, fans or Clients from all over the world, you really can connect due to webinars because it allows people from anywhere to connect into one place and hear you and see you, and that is super beneficial for remote marketing.

Cool, let's talk about number four - 'Webinars convert better than standard sales letters'. If you've ever been online and you've gone to look at a product or service, most sales pages have a sales letter there on some points, a video sales letter, and you go through it, you watch it, and it basically gives you reasons why you should purchase that particular product or service. And you'll soon find out in your own business that webinars convert way more than actual sales videos. Just to throw in some stats, sales videos probably convert at about anywhere from three to 7%, somewhere in that range. On the other hand, webinars convert at upwards of 20 to 40%. They convert really well, especially if they're done correctly and you can really benefit by it. So, experience of many from across the globe says that in all the thousands, of webinars that have been done over the years, they definitely convert better than a standard sales video.

Time to close, number five  - 'it causes you to stand out from the crowd'. Now how does it get you to stand out? Really, there are an overwhelming amount of people that look to build their business. And the overwhelming majority of them do not do webinars. Now, of course, there are people out there that do it, but if we had to put it in a percentage just based upon what we see, I'll bet it's anywhere less than 5% of the marketers actually do webinars. And what happens is, when the crowd is doing one thing and you do the opposite, you immediately stand out. So doing webinars, whether you're selling on them or whether you're just there providing value, connecting with your audience, and engaging your audience, that will cause you to stand out. I know, this is how it's been for me in my business. Doing webinars and just sharing different kinds of value creates a rabid raving audience. Now, that makes you stand out.
